Welcome

Hello, sweet friends!

I am Ellie. I am a daughter, sister, friend, dancer, communicator and most importantly a creation of Christ. I believe in the power of story and connection— understanding that our lives have purpose in God’s overarching narrative of love and redemption. I’m confident that the more we share what makes us weep or break out into a happy dance, the more we’ll experience freedom and see the beauty and goodness of God on this side of Heaven.

I gave my heart to Jesus in the third grade after telling my mom that I wanted to know Him like she did. In so many ways, I’m still that 8 year old. My deepest desire is to cling to Him wholeheartedly and worship Him for the never-ending grace He has over my life, just like my mama. Although I’ve walked through seasons of immense hardship, intense grief, and even inconsolable doubt, I always come back to the same sentiment Peter shared in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

This space is meant to be a place for connection. I want to share elements of my life and passions just as you would with a friend— the fear you haven’t admitted to anyone, the latest beauty product you can’t live without, and the music you have on repeat. I hope you’ll see yourself and your story intertwined in everything I share. Or if not for yourself, for another friend that may need a place to belong. I pray to share the wisdom I’ve gained through continual surrender to God. I write, speak, and share when I hear the Lord speaking through me. So Lord, thank you for this gift of communication, thank you for constantly pursuing me, and thank you for the work you’re continuing to do in and through me by the power of the Cross.

Friend, thank you for being here. I pray that you’re encouraged and empowered, but most important enamored with Jesus and his heart for you after your encounter on TheEllieB.com.

xox,

ellie
